Why 'The Average Mum'?

About me and my blog!

I started this blog because I was so sick of watching youtubers create amazing tutorials with stupidly priced products and tools that I knew I could find cheaper just as good duplicates for. I started buying duplicates in Autumn 2013 when I really discovered the YouTube community and decided to start my blog not long after the following Christmas. 

The term 

'The Average Mum' is used because I am a pretty average if not slightly mental twin Mum, with an average budget who loves makeup and dewy skin. I also have a slightly unhealthy addiction to binge watching shows on the internet, and instagramming pictures of anything and everything. 

I'm 20 and from the midlands. I had my now three year old twin daughters when I was 17 with my ever suffering partner Matthew, We both work, and doing makeup, buying makeup and writing about lifestyle/makeup is my hobby. Also talking at my boyfriend whilst he's trying to play C.O.D about makeup is a favourite past time too, Love you baby! :) 

Here you will find anything from funny tales of my life as twin mum, Beauty on a budget, make up tips and trips. General lifestyle chit chat. The occasional fashion post, from when  I'm occasionally fashionable!
